How dehydration effects brain functionality negatively

Our brain needs proper hydration to function properly. Various research have revealed that the frontal-parietal of humans brain works harder to complete various mental processes when we are dehydrated which results in fatigue.A higher level of dehydration shrinks brain. Our brain cells require a very delicate balance between water and various elements to operate. And if we loose to much water then that balance is disrupted and so brain looses its efficiency.

Studies have shown that even mild hydration of 1-3% of our body weight can impair many aspects of brain function.

In a simple language dehydration can impair short term memory function and the recall of long-term memory.

And if that was not enough

Quickly re-hydrating by drinking lots of fluids after being dehydrated can cause swelling and even cell damage in extreme cases. This is why it is extremely important to maintain a constant level of hydration.

But it is normal for us to get busy in work and forget to drink water if we do not feel thristy. Then what is the best way to avoid this?

A hydration reminder is your solution

What if you have someone who monitors you and reminds you to take a sip of water if you forget?

Yes..that is correct and you do not need to hire someone to remind you to get hydrated. There is a small cute little gadget that can do this task for you at a very nominal cost.  This technology (patent pending) is helping thousands of people globally to remain hydrated. It’s smart detection sensor blinks and reminds you to hydrate.
